Spring 2011

Well the season is amongst us. On top of putting the fit and finish on the 21 Parker I'm planning a tautog trip on Monday 5/2 and two night trips in the Bay up near the providence river. Although all these early season stripers are more active in the day time and up until dusk, I believe a night time approach can be successful with the aid of some Gibbs Danny Deep Divers. Unfortunately working prevents too much day fishing so this year, on top of snagging and yo yo-ing pogies, I plan to troll the 40 to 50 ft range of the water column with some yellow, black and squid DDD to get some life out the big boys hugging the consistent water temps down near the bottom.
